Objective: Atmosphere Pictures was commissioned
to produce a recruitment film for the UT football program.
Solution: This project evolved into a cultural-anthropological study
that peered into a community ritual. What we discovered was a deep spiritual
gathering
of sorts. The film gives a "day in the life" viewpoint of a UT
game day from sunrise to sunset. We used numerous slow motion, time lapse
and aerial shots to help create a feeling of omniscience for the viewer.
The use of multi-ethnic, trance like music contributes to this almost religious
experiences.
